Core Cities back down on threat to leave LGA

All but one of the core cities have stayed in the Local Government Association, despite their mass threat to withdrawn from membership last year.

All but one of the core cities have stayed in the Local Government Association, despite their mass threat to withdrawn from membership last year. 

 In a bid to pacify the cities, the LGA reshuffled its boards to include a ‘cities' board, alongside a ‘people and places' board.
