Cornwall signs up for devolution deal

Cornwall Council has become the first rural area to sign up for a devolution deal with communities secretary Greg Clark and Prime Minister David Cameron.

Cornwall Council has become the first rural area to sign up for a devolution deal with communities secretary Greg Clark and Prime Minister David Cameron. 

Council leader, John Pollard, described it as ‘brilliant news for Cornwall'. He said: ‘This is the first stage of a longer journey towards delivering the full Case for Cornwall.
