Councils in Scotland have called for a 2.5% increase in funding.

In a briefing ahead of the Scottish Government's draft budget next month, the Convention of Scottish Local Authorities (COSLA) pointed out that while the national budget has fallen by 0.4% in real terms since 2013, local government's share has fallen by 4%, forcing efficiencies worth £1.7bn.
