Government funding has been demanded to jumpstart a project to build a hospital that stalled after the collapse of Carillion.

Sandwell MBC said Government cash was the only way to resume construction of the Midland Metropolitan Hospital in Smethwick, which has been halted since the collapse of the giant contractor.
