Councils approve trading standards merger

Surrey and Buckingham CC have approved plans to merge their trading standards services in a bid to save almost £400,000 a year.

Surrey and Buckingham CC have approved plans to merge their trading standards services in a bid to save almost £400,000 a year.

The two county councils have been working on proposals to bring the two services together since April and their respective cabinets approved the plans earlier this week.
