Two-thirds of councils have reduced their general fund reserves over the last three years, a new report by Scotland's watchdog for local government has found.

A report today from the Accounts Commission said the net draw on revenue reserves in 2018/19 was £45m and across all councils there was a net decrease in usable reserves of £6m to £2.5bn.
