Councils will be called on to help implement the Government’s pledge of employment support for disabled people.

Councils will be called on to help implement the Government's pledge of employment support for disabled people.

Proposed reforms to welfare announced today included a guarantee of tailored support for out-of-work disabled people to find employment, backed with £1bn of funding per year by 2029-2030.
