Four councils have agreed to share legal services, a move which will save £600,000 over the next four years.

Four councils have agreed to share legal services, a move which will save £600,000 over the next four years.

Merton, Kingston, Sutton and Richmond Councils will now share one legal team, the first shared services agreement of its kind in the UK. The move will reduce the need to instruct outside lawyers and will save money through fewer office overheads.
