Councils support people fleeing Lebanon

Councils have been called into action once again to help hundreds of British nationals and their partners and children flee war-torn Lebanon.

Councils have been called into action once again to help hundreds of British nationals, their partners and children flee war-torn Lebanon.

The Government has provided assistance to 430 people to leave the country in the past week alone, including via chartered flights – the fourth and final of which arrived in the UK on Sunday.
