There is ‘no credible alternative’ to capitalisation in a bid to rescue Croydon LBC’s finances, a rapid review has claimed.

There is ‘no credible alternative' to capitalisation in a bid to rescue Croydon LBC's finances, the rapid review has claimed.

The review, led by former Newham LBC chief executive Chris Wood, found ‘significant failings in leadership and management', particularly when it came to the finances.
