Thurrock Council chief executive Graham Farrant has announced he is to take up a new post as boss of the Land Registry – just a fortnight after Brentwood BC announced he would be their joint acting chief executive. 

Mr Farrant took up the Brentwood post – in addition to his post as chief executive of Thurrock – late last month for a short-term period, replacing previous interim chief, Jo-Anne Ireland.
