DCLG accused of cover up over critical Troubled Families report

The Government has been accused of suppressing a report which claims the flagship Troubled Families programme has ‘no discernible impact’.

The Government has been accused of suppressing a report which claims the flagship Troubled Families programme has ‘no discernible impact'. 

A copy of the report leaked to the BBC's Newsnight programme claimed there was no impact on employment rates, offending or benefit take-up.  Evidence on improved truancy rates were ‘not robust', it concluded.
