District Councils' Network (DCN) vice-chair Sharon Taylor is to step down from the role after being awarded a peerage.
Cllr Taylor's period as leader of Stevenage BC will come to an end in the New Year as she takes up her seat in the House of Lords, meaning she will also relinquish her DCN position after a decade and a half.
