A deal has been struck to suspend debt-ridden Thurrock Council’s ‘mass litigation’ against 23 other local authorities.

A deal has been struck to suspend debt-ridden Thurrock Council's ‘mass litigation' against 23 other local authorities.

The legal claim related to the valuation by the Association of Public Service Excellence (APSE) of investments made by Thurrock with businessman Liam Kavanagh, who the council has accused of misusing around £150m of funds.
