Some might say that virtual council meetings are dehumanising democracy, but I think they are wrong. And even Jackie Weaver wants them to stay despite the cringe-inducing experience she had and that we all witnessed.

The pandemic forced us to shift to getting our committees up and running online and now anyone, anywhere, can tune in and watch proceedings – and if they can't make it at the exact time then they can watch it on catch-up.
