As the NPPF celebrates its first year of life, it is starting to remove clutter and duplication in central government guidance and give people a user-friendly document to make planning accessible for all, writes Bob Neill.

The National Planning Policy Framework celebrated its first birthday last week, and I think it is fair to say that the occasion passed with rather less furore than the christening.
