Director of Corporate Services and Transformation

Margate, East Kent. Are you a strategic thinker, able to translate plans into action and persuade others to do likewise? If you are, then the role of Director of Corporate Services and Transformation could be just the job for you!

Resulting from the need to align corporate services to support an innovative change programme, this post has been created to spearhead a council-wide service review process to ensure the future sustainability of key Council services.

Leading a newly formed directorate, you will be responsible for all of the Council's corporate and administrative functions. Additionally, this role will see you championing organisational development and culture change programmes, driving our continuous improvement agenda, and managing the business planning and performance processes.

Prospective candidates should be used to securing buy-in, be adept at challenging traditional thinking in a positive and constructive way and have a track record of embedding sustainable transformational change. You will be an excellent communicator and politically astute, although experience of local government is not essential.
