'Disastrous fall' in homes built for social rent

The number of homes built for social rent last year slumped to a fifth of the level seen a decade ago.

The number of homes built for social rent last year slumped to a fifth of the level seen a decade ago.

Just 6,463 social rent homes were built in England in 2017-18, compared to around 30,000 10 years ago.
