Former leader of Essex CC and peer Lord Hanningfield has died.

Former leader of Essex CC and peer Lord Hanningfield has died.

In 2010, Hanningfield was charged with offences related to the Parliamentary expenses scandal – charges which he denied. He was sentenced to nine months in prison.
