Districts' ability to invest in infrastructure is curtailed by borrowing caps

Cllr John Fuller argues for a new funding approach in the forthcoming spending review that retains current incentives as well as including a prevention precept.

It's often said that it's not the size of the budget that matters, but how you spend it.

Whilst districts have smaller budgets than some parts of the public sector, we provide more of the retail services that residents value the most.
