Ealing seeks to close £15m budget gap

Demand for care services has left Ealing LBC grappling with a budget overspend of almost £15m.

Demand for care services has left Ealing LBC grappling with a budget overspend of almost £15m.

The council's children and schools services is forecast to overspend by £11m, largely due to costs of looked after children, while the adults and public health budget has been overspent by £14.5m.
