The electoral system is ‘creaking more than ever,' chief executive of the Association of Electoral Administrators, Peter Stanyon, has said.

Writing for The MJ's website in the aftermath of the General Election on December 12, Mr Stanyon said the system was ‘not resilient enough, lacks capacity and isn't meeting the expectations of voters'.
