Engaging with our partners

We need to be engaging in a better way with local businesses in our areas so they understand how local authorities work, says Adele Taylor.

A couple of weeks ago I was in Liverpool with some of our team from Cherwell DC as part of the REVO retail property and place-making conference where organisations across the private and public sector had an opportunity to consider the future of our high streets and to learn from each other.

Our team was able to showcase the regeneration work we have been doing, primarily to protect the future of our town centres for our businesses and residents, but also recognising that we can also make a return on what we are doing to re-invest into other services.
