Council chiefs have urged Whitehall to maintain their focus on the potential impact of Brexit on the sector, The MJ understands.

The Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) has reduced the frequency of some of the regular meetings with the sector after the deadline for Brexit was extended to the end of October.
