Government attempts to fix the UK's ‘broken' asylum system could be hit as West Midlands mets threaten to resurrect legal action.

The threat emerged as ministers try to rapidly move asylum seekers from hotels to less expensive and more suitable accommodation, increasing capacity from 57,000 to 100,000 by December 2023.
