Pressure on London boroughs to adopt ‘no cuts budgets' has been rejected by the Labour Party following demands from a senior trade union officer.

A letter sent by Unite regional officer Onay Kasab, seen by The MJ, called on Labour-led boroughs to ‘build on Jeremy Corbyn's call for councils to stand together' and ‘refuse to implement' government funding cuts.
