Local government minister Lee Rowley has suggested he is open to considering widening the remit of Oflog to look at public expenditure in an area.

Group leaders at the Local Government Association are understood to have identified public sector expenditure in an area as a fifth initial topic in addition to the policy themes it will initially cover – adult social care, adult skills, waste management and reserves.
