A wide-reaching government strategy to expand the Troubled Families programme and tackle ‘sink estates’ has been unveiled by David Cameron.

A wide-reaching government strategy to expand the Troubled Families programme and tackle ‘sink estates' has been unveiled by David Cameron.

The prime minister this week outlined efforts to ‘rescue a generation from poverty' through the Government's Life Chances Strategy by widening support for troubled families to make parenting skills and child development ‘central' elements to how the programme was ‘targeted and delivered'.
