Extra year of UKSPF funding would remove 'immediate cliff edge'

Introducing an extra year of funding for the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) would remove the ‘immediate cliff edge' facing the income stream, an MP has said.

The UKSPF, a £2.6bn programme that is due to finish in March, was brought in to replace EU regional development funding following Brexit.
