The fall out from the Budget showed little sign of abating last week, as the Government faced continued pressure over the proposed tax relief cap.

We remain hopeful that common sense will prevail, and charitable donations will be exempted, although there is concern that the promised consultation will amount to kicking the issue into the long grass.
