More focus is required on England's most deprived communities, according to research published today.

The Centre for Progressive Policy (CPP) think tank and Local Trust have said current Government policies will not help support 2.3 million people living in ‘doubly disadvantaged' neighbourhoods – those facing material deprivation and a lack social assets such as community centres and connectivity.
