The future of social housing has ‘never been under so much threat,' Local Government Association senior vice president, Cllr Nick Forbes has told Labour's party conference in Liverpool. 

Cllr Forbes told conference Labour councils have ‘stretched every sinew' to shield vulnerable people from the worst of the cuts.
