The Energy Bill Support Scheme (EBSS) announced by Prime Minister Rishi Sunak when he was chancellor ‘seems wide open to claims from ineligible households,' The MJ has been told.

It is understood that the Government has been informed of major flaws in the application process for people wanting to claim the £400 discount under the scheme.
