Adult services directors are committed to provide as much help as they can in ensuring that appropriate levels of pay are awarded to appropriately trained home care staff, writes David Pearson

T here really never has been that much difference between directors of adult social services and home care providers over care workers' pay. At heart both the Association of Directors of Adult Social Services (ADASS) and the United Kingdom Home Care Association (UKHCA) agree that it is vitally important for people who receive care and support at home to have it provided by well-trained, well-motivated and well-paid care staff.
