Funding pledged for Scottish councils to tackle period poverty

Councils in Scotland will receive £2m in funding to continue provision of free sanitary products in schools.

Councils in Scotland will receive £2m in funding to continue provision of free sanitary products in schools.

The Scottish Government will also provide universities and colleges with up to £3.5m as part of the scheme, first introduced last year.
