Local government must speak with a single voice to capitalise on a new-found desire for engagement from central government, The MJ Future Forum has heard.

Chief executive of the Local Government Association Joanna Killian said she had been encouraged by efforts from the Government to engage and hopes to make progress on sector priorities such as reform of special educational needs provision and adult social care, but ‘the proof will be in the pudding'.
