The Government is dragging its feet over providing key details about how an extra £300m transitional grant was allocated, a senior councillor has claimed.

Nottingham City Council deputy leader, Cllr Graham Chapman, who has submitted a number of Freedom of Information Act (FoI) requests on the issue, said the Government was ‘still refusing to provide key details' about the allocation.
