Getting a grip

The Government is riven with confusion and incoherence, says Dan Corry. Here, he puts forward the three qualities that are fundamental to getting back on track.

We enter 2022 with politics in a strange place. We have a Government with a stonking majority achieved only two years ago – but seemingly unable to get key legislation through the House of Commons without the Opposition's support.

We have a Prime Minister who right now seems to be better at doing photo ops in vaccine centres than producing policies that are then followed through. We have a great deal of confusion and incoherence as to what the Government actually believes in.
