Opposition councillors have said the Tory administration at Gloucestershire CC ‘needs to get its act together’ after Ofsted’s first monitoring visit since an inadequate judgement.

Opposition councillors have said the Tory administration at Gloucestershire CC ‘needs to get its act together' after Ofsted's first monitoring visit since an inadequate judgement.

Essex CC has been commissioned to act as an improvement partner and adviser to Gloucestershire, which has introduced a new management structure and plan to tackle Ofsted's inadequate rating.
