Government confirms Copeland bailout

The Government has granted Copeland BC’s request for a capitalisation direction worth up to £1.5m.

The Government has granted Copeland BC's request for a capitalisation direction worth up to £1.5m.

It means the council will be able to balance its budget for the 2021-22 financial year.
