MPs have hit out at the Government's ‘apparent lack of urgency' in clarifying how it will work with local government to achieve net zero.

A report by the Public Accounts Committee said it was concerned the Government had still not clearly detailed the roles and responsibilities of local authorities in delivering net zero objectives.
