The Government should remove barriers that are preventing local council tax support (LCTS) schemes from fully meeting Whitehall policy objectives, an independent review has urged.

The Government should remove barriers that are preventing local council tax support (LCTS) schemes from fully meeting Whitehall policy objectives, an independent review has urged.

Former MP Eric Ollerenshaw praised local government for ‘effectively implementing' the council tax support schemes ‘despite difficult circumstances'.
