Guildford and Waverley bolster leadership team

Guildford and Waverley BCs have appointed two strategic directors to help lead the officer teams at both councils.

Julian Higson, who joined the authorities in March in an interim capacity, has been appointed to the role of strategic director for housing, communities and environment, while director of policy and projects at Westminster City Council, Ezra Wallace, has been appointed to the role of strategic director for economy, planning and place.

The appointments came after a recruitment campaign that attracted more than 64 applications across the two roles.
