At Hounslow LBC we believe that when it comes to our residents' health, tackling health inequalities has to be our priority. Health inequalities refer to the avoidable and systemic differences in health outcomes between specific groups of people. We believe that one should not be disadvantaged because of the circumstances of their birth or where they live.

In our annual public health report From the Ground Up: Tackling Health Inequalities we highlight the poorer health outcomes for certain groups in Hounslow compared to the rest of the borough. We then go on to talk about how we are addressing this.
