Hearing survivors' voices loud and clear

With the Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse due to be published later this year, we must ensure the voices of victims and survivors are heard, says John O’Brien.

For over six years, the Truth Project, part of the Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse, gave over 6,000 victims and survivors of child sexual abuse an unprecedented opportunity to share their experience with us, and put forward suggestions to better protect children in future.

The importance of these contributions cannot be overstated.
