Healthcare leaders have welcomed the £700m investment for 187 hospital trusts but warned ‘proper’ investment is also needed in social care.

Healthcare leaders have welcomed the £700m investment for 187 hospital trusts but warned ‘proper' investment is also needed in social care.

The Government has allocated the funding – part of the £5.4bn already announced – to increase capacity and tackle waiting lists.
