Housing: This time it's personal

Martin Ford sat down with the Housing, Communities and Local Government committee’s new chair Florence Eshalomi to look ahead at what promises to be a packed Parliamentary agenda

With the election of a new Government came the need for a refresh of the Parliamentary select committees that scrutinise its work.

The Housing, Communities and Local Government (HCLG) committee in particular has its work cut out, with a slew of new government policies and legislation falling under its remit – not least the biggest shake-up of councils in a generation.
