Hopes that the Government will change the law to allow hybrid meetings have been raised by an intervention from new secretary of state Michael Gove.

Speaking virtually himself at a Local Government Association (LGA) councillors' forum, Mr Gove said: ‘We must keep the capacity for hybrid meetings.
