Improvement panel may disband in March

Birmingham City Council’s chief executive has told The MJ he hopes the independent improvement panel tasked with monitoring the authority could be disbanded by March.

Birmingham City Council's chief executive has told The MJ he hopes the independent improvement panel tasked with monitoring the authority could be disbanded by March.

Mark Rogers said this week: ‘We could, with a fair wind, hope to satisfy the panel sufficiently that it could stand down in March.'
