I started the new year with a message to all Association of Chief Executives of Voluntary Services (ACEVO) members, urging them not to neglect their own professional and personal development as they brave the storms ahead.

Leaders in all sectors will be facing difficult decisions and more pressure as the effects of continuing economic turbulence and a second round of cuts to public spending are felt.
